This location was first discovered by Spanish explorers in 1572. Many tons of this meteorite are known. Specimen exhibits a wonderful glassy fusion crust that is highly unusual for this location. As a RARE bonus, a small pencil-sized hole was created during its journey through the atmosphere. Specimens with holes have recently sold for huge sums at natural history auctions. As shown in photo, the meteorite displays nicely in a naturally free-standing position. Very showy, with no rust!
