Exceptionally large shed tooth from a flying reptile. Tooth measures 9/16" long, on matrix, 8" x 3 1/2". Tooth's long needle-like shape indicates that it is from the distal end of the upper or lower jaw. These teeth were used primarily for catching and holding small fish. Tooth is in PRISTINE condition, with NO restoration.
