Rhamphorhynchus sp. ToothRhamphorhynchus sp. Exceptionally large shed tooth from a flying reptile. Tooth measures 9/16" long, on matrix, 8" x 3 1/2". Tooth's long needle-like shape indicates that it is from the distal end of the upper or lower jaw. These teeth were used primarily for catching and holding small fish.
