This location was first discovered by Spanish explorers in 1572. Many tons of this meteorite are known. Very showy, with nice fusion crust! This meteorite maintained a partial orientation during its re-entry into the earth's atmosphere, causing a trench to form in the molten iron. This created a Super RARE "burn hole" that measures 4 mm. across. Highly unusual and desirable -- a true collector's meteorite!
