Large primary fossil bird feather, 95% complete! Feather measures over
2” long and 7/8” across at widest point. It is nicely positioned on
matrix, 4” x 7”. The small rods that make up the feather have
unbelievable detail! Also, some small insect remains are preserved in
close proximity to the feather. Bird feather remains are very rare in
the fossil record. No repair or restoration.
