HUGE highly polished sphere of stromatolite colonies. Sphere measures 4 1/8” in diameter and has a 12.5” circumference. Vertical, horizontal, and all possible cross-sections of these ancient algae-like colonies are distributed throughout the surface area. Specimen is completely solidified, very dense, and weighs 3.5 lbs. Spectacular detail and intense red color makes this a truly outstanding exhibit or decorator fossil! Display stand included.
