Product Description

Highly polished sphere of stromatolite colonies. This sphere measures 3 3/4″ in diameter and has a 11 3/4″ circumference. Vertical, horizontal, and all possible cross-sections of these ancient algae-like colonies are distributed throughout the surface area. Specimen is completely solidified, very dense, and weighs 2.75 pounds. Spectacular detail and intense red color makes this a truly outstanding exhibit or decorator fossil! Display stand included.
